In the near future, the automotive conferences AutoSens in Brussels and IS Auto in San Francisco will open their doors.
Camera modules in automotive systems need to fulfill a list of requirements. Therefore, the testing and calibration of image sensors play an important role in this area of technology. The demands on camera modules are as diverse as the image’s applications. The high dynamic range that can occur on sunny days needs to be captured in a reliable way as well as low light situations at night. The failure of a camera in an autonomous system can be lethal. Therefore, it is essential to test these systems.
We look forward to showing you test equipment specially designed to suit the automotive industry’s requirements.
On the one hand, we would like to introduce CAL3, our new integrating sphere equipped with a concave diffusor created for the measurement of cameras with extreme wide-angle lenses. This device, based on the reliable iQ-LED technology, can generate standard illuminations and any individual spectrum.
Another new illumination device is the LG3, the first light box on the market, which combines high intensities and variable frequencies. It works with pulse width modulation, either at a constant frequency of 32 kHz or in flicker mode with a variable frequency range of 10 to 500 Hz. Thus, the LG 3 is the ultimate illumination device, which combines the high contrasts for OECF measurements with flicker effects.
Visit us at the AutoSens and IS Auto. Our engineers look forward to showing you how we can help you set up camera testing equipment that fits your needs.
