iQ-Headturner

The iQ-Headturner enables control of mannequin heads used to evaluate camera system performance. It provides a ±180 ° turning radius from the home position and a quick-change system for interchangeable mannequin heads.

This product is designed for use with the TE295 test chart. TE295 is a multipurpose chart for evaluating webcam systems. It is the chart utilized in the VCX-WebCam international standard.

To improve testing accuracy, VCX recommends using multiple mannequin heads with different skin tones. Contact our sales department for more details.

VCX-WebCam 2023

VCX-WebCam 2023 has established the first internationally recognized benchmarks for evaluating the image quality performance of video conferencing cameras. Tests are performed in a controlled environment by trusted test labs using equipment and test charts that adhere to the standard, such as TE295 and the iQ-Headturner.

The VCX test focuses on key areas of webcam performance, including low-light conditions, mixed and changing lighting, face detection accuracy, challenging scenes (e.g., high-dynamic-range scenes), and motion.

Please note:

The Headturner is sold without the head. The manufacturer of the heads does not provide Reach & RoHS compliance certificates, thus impacting the distribution in Europe. As a result, European-based customers must accept that these products don’t fulfill the CE conformity requirements. Customers in Asia and the USA can purchase the heads directly from our subsidiaries or resellers.
