The TE280 is used for the analysis of 'texture loss', which is the loss of low contrast, fine details in images due to noise reduction or other image processing techniques. According to ISO19567 a low contrast sinusoidal Siemens star can be used to determine texture loss.
The TE280 is available with 18% and 48% modulation.
The TE280 is supported by the iQ-Analyzer V6 image evaluation software.
