If you would rather run surveillance image-quality tests in your own facility, we supply the charts, light sources, climate chamber and analysis software behind the lab. Full specifications live on each product page.
Find the right products and services to test the performance of security cameras according to ISO 19093:2018-08.
The image quality of modern security cameras depends on more than just the sensor; it also relies heavily on the Image Signal Processor (ISP). The ISP transforms the raw data captured by the sensor into a clear, usable image via a series of sophisticated processing steps.
Professional ISP tuning allows parameters such as defect pixel correction, noise reduction and colour correction to be optimised precisely. This ensures sharper images, accurate colours and improved performance, even in challenging lighting conditions, critical factors for reliable surveillance.
By measuring key image quality metrics, manufacturers and system integrators can fine-tune ISP settings to achieve optimal results for their camera hardware and application.
Measuring image quality factors provides a basis for optimal ISP tuning.
Image Engineering can provide the necessary equipment and test services for tuning.
