TE42-LL Timing
A new test chart for low light and timing measurements
The TE42-LL Timing chart is our most recent chart for low light testing. It uses the same layout as the TE42-LL (which is the chart used in ISO 19093) but incorporates two separate LED-Panels into opposite corners of the chart for measuring various timing parameters.
Now you can analyze the timing performance of your camera in a low light situation.

The latest version of the iQ-LED software includes a few new advanced features including a color patch generator and a chromaticity plot display. The color patch generator allows you to generate 24 patches from a particular light source and CIE standard reference. The chromaticity plot display provides an easy way to check how closely matched the color of the generated spectra is to the reference.

Developments in image quality testing
New papers from the Electronic Imaging conference
At Image Engineering we are always looking for ways to push the boundaries of image quality testing. At this year’s Electronic Imaging Conference, our team published a few papers highlighting new advancements in image quality testing.
Our CEO Dietmar Wueller submitted a paper titled “A new dimension in geometric camera calibration” that discusses a new testing setup for a more accurate geometric camera calibration.
CTO Uwe Artmann submitted a paper titled “Using the dead leaves pattern for more than SFR measurements.” His paper examines a series of experiments that use the pattern with different analysis approaches to measuring the dynamic range of a camera. These approaches also describe the dependency of the SFR on object contrast and light intensity.
