We are excited to introduce the TE300 Skin Tone Checker to our test chart portfolio. This test chart provides a modern approach to assessing the skine tone accuracy of camera systems.
This chart is based directly on the Pantone SkinTone guide. This guide is unique as it uses spectrally measured real-world skin tones, ensuring that the colors are colorimetrically and spectrally correct. This feature allows us to perform skin tone measurements using any light source without losing the color perceived by the human eye. We’ve been able to confirm these assertions through our in-situ database.
Improve your Bright Light Test Environment
Arcturus is a DC light source with extremely high intensity and consistency
Today’s image sensors and high dynamic range configurations make testing at or close to sensor saturation challenging. With Arcturus, we can generate more than enough intensity to challenge these sensors with a much higher sensitivity than currently possible. Arcturus can simulate the intensity of bright sunlight illumination with very high stability compared to other light sources. This ability allows camera systems to be evaluated in a test lab more efficiently.

Arcturus is an excellent solution for testing many of the metrics outlined in the IEEE-P2020 standard, including contrast transfer accuracy (CTA) and flicker (MMP).
iQ-Lab: Webcam and mobile phone camera performance testing
Using the VCX test methods for webcam and mobile phone camera testing
The VCX organization aims to provide objective image quality testing for mobile phone cameras and webcam systems so that consumers can make a more informed decision when purchasing a smartphone or webcam based on a final "score."
We are a trusted (fully certified) VCX testing lab for VCX-PhoneCam testing (we are currently in the process of becoming a certified test lab for VCX-WebCam testing). Using our test equipment, we have set up our lab per the specifications outlined by the VCX white paper.
In addition to offering VCX testing services, we offer most of the test equipment outlined in the VCX whitepaper. We use this equipment, such as the TE42-LL Timing test chart for timing measurements or the iQ-Headturner for webcam facial recognition testing, in the iQ-Lab when performing VCX tests.
